Every Mission Works piece exemplifies the time honored standards established by the Founders of the Arts and Crafts era. They are based on classic craftsman designs. In the craftsman tradition, all of our pieces are handcrafted from Quartersawn White Oak and given a hand rubbed antique finish much like that of 100 years ago. This ensures that our new Mission Works furniture will blend well with a cherished antique or family heirloom.

You might call it Mission style, Craftsman style, Arts and Crafts, California Mission, Mission Prairie, or Mission Oak, but it defines a furniture design genre typified by solid wood, clean lines, and mortise and tenon construction.
